This scanning tip is one of two available tips (the other being the Tip Large) for the scanner, used with the Ceramill Map DRS to capture precise digital impressions of a patient’s dental anatomy, including partial and full jaws, bite registrations, and implant positions using scan bodies. The Tip Small is optimized for scanning in tighter or more confined areas of the mouth, making it ideal for specific clinical situations where precision in smaller spaces is required. It supports the scanner’s ability to digitize dental impressions, replacing traditional methods and enabling workflows for same-day restorations or lab collaboration. Exclusively designed for the Ceramill Map DRS scanner, it is part of the Ceramill DRS Connection Kit, which streamlines digital workflows and supports interdisciplinary collaboration between dental practices and laboratories.
